Dolphins have been seen in the Bosphorus strait.

This unusual view has recently surprised the inhabitants of Istanbul. As a result of the coronavirus epidemic and related restrictions, dolphins have been seen in the waters of the Bosphorus. They have not been seen here for many years. It is now that nature begins to revive and regain its former habitats, from which it was supplanted by man.

The pollution and noise have kept these marine mammals far away from the city center and the busy Bosphorus shipping routes. However, in recent days, they have returned. The roads and bridges of Istanbul are usually extremely crowded at any time of the day, but in recent days they have been empty. This unique peace in the largest city of Turkey has allowed dolphins to celebrate.
