And so, in the 2020 ranking, this title was given to Denmark. Luxembourg and Switzerland took the next place on the podium. Great Britain, France, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Germany came first with them. The US took only 24th place. The ranking closes Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, and Myanmar, and the last, 180th place, went to Liberia.
Scientists emphasized that high results of countries from the top of the ranking are the result of long and hard work. Researchers also took into account the presence of forests or wild fauna and flora.
