A ferret named Bandit has run a marathon and supported a charity book campaign. Thanks to over 337,000 steps, she managed to collect about 2.5 thousand pounds. This allowed supplying of 10 thousand London children with books and creative articles.
Ferret owners came up with this idea during a coronavirus pandemic shutdown. When the oldest street race – the London Marathon – was canceled, the 2.6 challenge began on the Internet. As it turned out, animals also took part in the challenge. Bandit Ferret has run a full marathon distance. Thanks to this, she supported a charity that distributes books among the youngest Londoners. This is an incredible achievement!
