New tourists to the Colosseum – animals!

The pandemic made visiting the Roman Colosseum impossible. However, recently a bit different tourists have come there. Who? Animals! First of all, they are rabbits, frogs, and hedgehogs that come out of their mink and settle in the Colosseum. Even the black cat decided to visit the famous facility. Thanks to the silence and emptiness caused by the pandemic, the animals feel comfortable and uninhibited there.

The director of the archaeological park, Alfonsina Russo, informed her social media about the unusual visit. High temperatures were recorded in Rome in November, so many animals have yet to hibernate for this reason. Instead, they visit the Colosseum and settle in it. They have the entire facility to themselves and they like it very much!
