The mysterious death of elephants in Zimbabwe

A representative of the National Parks in Zimbabwe announced the death of 11 elephants. The bodies of animals were found in the Pandamasue Forest, which is situated between Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.

It is unknown what caused the deaths of the animals, but factors such as poaching and cyanide poisoning. The cause is being still investigated. Last month, a similar situation occurred in Botswana. More than 270 elephants were killed there then, and researchers are still wondering what was the reason. Scientists there also excluded poaching and poisoning, as well as anthrax.
