On June the 5th we celebrate World Environment Day. This day was established by the ONZ General Assembly at the Stockholm Conference in 1972. Celebrated annually in over 100 countries, it aims to remind the main slogans of the conference about the compatibility of the development of civilization with the ecological development of the surrounding world. The purpose of these celebrations is primarily to raise public awareness of the need for protection and improvement of the environment. This year’s main theme is the protection of biodiversity.
All human activities, both deliberate and accidental, have an impact on the surrounding environment. If they are not conducted in a thoughtful and responsible manner, they can be associated with the pollution of other areas. Today is a good time to accept eco-resolutions.
